Karate Kid(s)

Here we have a karate kid. He loves to do karate wherever he goes, and wanted to demonstrate some of his kata routine. Check out some of these moves:

Wait. . .what’s this? His little brother is stepping in? Karate kid loves doing karate so much his little brother decided to give it a go!

Hmmm, he looks more like karate Yoda!

Oh, well. At least big brother is in no danger of having to give up his green belt to little Yoda any time soon.

Two Years Old!

Two years ago today our lives were somewhat calm, normal, uncrazed. Two years ago that changed. Oh, we didn’t know it at the time, but we were in for a real treat with this one. Being that she was preceded by four other little darlings, we thought we had all, or most, of the kid stuff covered. She proved us wrong. She has a knack for indiscretion. Even as I type this, I’m watching her in her wading pool, trying to convince a stray kitten that it needs to take a swim with her. And little girl just won. She can make a mess quicker and faster than all of her sibling predecessors combined. She can scream higher, louder, and more shrill than a monkey on a roller coaster. I’m sure someday these attributes will benefit her. Well, those combined with her never-ending persistance. I’m not sure how that would exactly work out, but I’m sure she can handle it. We’ll just sit back and watch the show.

But, she does have her more tolerable qualities as well. There is the cute factor, and she knows when and how to use it. She can give a hug like she thinks the receiver of the hug is the greatest thing in her world. And when it’s time for her to wind down, she becomes the sweetest little lap baby you could imagine.

I’d better go rescue a kitten now.

Six Weeks Old Now

Six weeks. Six weeks since we met her. Six weeks since we’ve had any sleep. Six weeks since she turned us into a family of eight. Six weeks since she’s turned us all into ooey gooey baby saps (again). Six weeks is good

It’s Almost Her Due Date :)

Two weeks old and still not her due date. Two weeks of pregnancy never goes by this quickly. But just look at what we we get to enjoy a bit sooner than expected! A keeper for sure.

Update on Baby Waddey

We are expecting baby girl Waddey to make her arrival today! As soon as we are home and settled in I will return all emails. MDO pictures will be completed without too much delay! Thanks so much for all your prayers and concern. Be ready for lots of new baby pictures. . .
