Hello my honey, hello my baby, hello my ragtime gal. . .

The Looney Tunes cartoon with Michigan J Frog (the singing and dancing frog) is one of Mike’s favorites. This is how Andrew and I wasted a little (a lot of) time this afternoon.

Back to reality now.

I love doing preschool sessions. That’s not something I thought I would ever say. I do like them though. They are, however, e x t r e m e l y tiring. But that’s okay. Just look at the fun shots I get! These are only a handful (a preschooler’s handful), but I wanted to share some random ones from this week’s session. Parents, as soon as I have all of the pictures ready I will let your director know and will get your links and forms to you.

Today Laura turns 8! Well, as she says, not until 10:00 tonight. So I guess I have a 7-year-old for a little while longer Questions come to mind when I try to describe Laura. FULL OF QUESTIONS! That's a good and bad thing. She’s funny, energetic, and keeps all her brothers in line. Later today we'll celebrate her turning eight with a party, but really, our little girl gives us good reason to celebrate every day. Here are a few of my latest pictures of her doing her most favorite thing.

Happy Birthday, Laura! We love you and are so proud of you!

This is the question we hear soooo many times a day from our two-year-old wonder. We usually have a limited number of answers to her one question, such as, “In her bed”, “In her swing”, “On the couch”, or “Right here in my lap, Crazy Mae”. So I thought I’d answer here as well. Today she’s on the blog (again). Almost four months old now!

I do believe that turning one will work out well for little L. Umm, did I say “little” L? There is not much that is little about these lovely baby legs!

Don’t you just want to pinch all those rolls? I can’t think of much that’s any cuter than baby rolls.

We began our session inside, and for a short while she was content with the situation. See?

I said a short while. See?

So we happily went out and about. Luckily, she had brought along her grandmother’s antique stroller. Extremely cute.

All in all she had a pretty good time playing.

And looking cute.

We had three extra kids in our house for a couple days last week. Not that we even noticed with all the other kids really, we just threw them into the mix, but we were excited to have them. They’re my niece and nephews. We don’t get to see them just a whole lot, but when we do, they and our kids just pick up where they left off last. The older boys managed to come inside to eat and sleep. The girls pilfered through clothes that I didn’t even know we still had. And the little ones giggled and ran laps around the kitchen in between their spats over the one toy that was the “must have” at that moment. Everyone had fun. Anyway, here they are!

What a good time I had with Miss K! She is such a beautiful little girl, and FULL of personality. I was told ahead of time how much she likes to have her picture made. They weren’t kidding. I do believe that if it wasn’t getting close to dinner and bedtime we both could have carried on all evening. There wasn’t anything she wasn’t ready to do.

We began quietly in the yard admiring the flowers.

We soon realized there were balloons that needed to be played with.

We also soon realized the effects of helium

Not to worry, though. We had bubbles! Lots and lots of bubbles. Miss K and I both agreed that her mommy was the best bubble blower in the world!

We rested some, too.

But we couldn’t rest too much. There was a bridge! It made her giggle.

Miss K was good to bring her baby, Chloe.

And I’m quite sure these flowers were there just for Miss K and her lavender dress.

We finished up our time giving the lollipop garden a drink and looking for pink fish
